01 · History
Sohail Castle
Located right at the mouth of the Fuengirola river, on a small isolated hill rising 38 metres above sea level. A privileged viewpoint over a wide stretch of coast dominated by the Sierra de Mijas.
Its excellent geographical setting allowed Punic and Roman peoples to settle its slopes continuously since ancient times.
02 · Nature
Punta de Calaburras
A small rocky cape on the Mediterranean coast, in the municipality of Mijas, between Fuengirola and La Cala. It separates the Cala del Moral inlet from Fuengirola bay and is crowned by the Calaburras lighthouse.
Historically known as a hazard for shipping, it holds archaeological remains of great interest:

- Dutch wrecks
- Calaburras cannons
- Playa del Charcón
